Research profile

Our research in evolutionary biology includes phylogenetics and adaptation of organisms to the environment. We aim to understand how genetic and plastic mechanisms shape adaptation to natural and anthropogenic environmental change, how evolutionary processes shape population genomics, and evolutionary interactions between animals, plants and pathogens. We use a wide range of approaches including population genomic and sequencing methodologies, experimental evolution, network analyses, and field experiments.
