Greenland and the arctic

The Department of Bioscience employs a large number of researchers with particular interest in Greenland. We assess and monitor the state of the Greenland environment and how it is affected by mineral and oil activities.

The Department of Bioscience participates in the international Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP).

We also study the global changes in environment and climate – what will happen in the future and the consequences for the Arctic environment.
