It's been busy at Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS). Several researchers from Aarhus University had to be found for a newly launched fellowship for established researchers. They have now been found!

The mission for the new fellowship is to bring Aarhus University researchers and the network of AIAS fellows even closer together with an ambition to facilitate and inspire new interdisciplinary research projects and directions.

AIAS Director, Søren Rud Keiding is excited: “We are looking very much forward to welcoming the 23 new Associates to AIAS, and to help stimulating the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas of the many talented researchers. And not at least, it is our aspiration to challenge their way of thinking through the multidisciplinary environment at AIAS,” – source: 23 new AIAS Associates from Aarhus University appointed (au.dk).

One of the 23 researchers to be part of the fellowship is Professor Dorte Krause Jensen from Marine Ecology at Department of Bioscience: (translated comment) ”I look forward to being part of the AIAS community, because I find interdisciplinary research environments very inspiring. I am very pleased with the opportunity and recognition and see it as a privilege to have the possibility to contribute to the link between AIAS and the rest of AU through the exchange of ideas and increased cooperation.”, said Dorte about her new role in AIAS.

We wish Dorte and the other 22 researchers congratulations and the best of luck!
